PDS Consulting is run by Dr Karin Jacobson. I have more than 20 years' experience of research related to long term properties of polymers with a special focus on harsh environments such as chlorine, chlorine dioxide and other corrosive environments found in e.g. water disinfection and the chemical processing industry.

Project leading skills

I have initiated and run numerous projects with both industrial and academic participants. I have often been a link between scientific research and the industry. I have also worked with the whole chain from producer to end user giving me a holistic view on polymers in harsh environments. 

Scientific controller

One of my main strengths is using my experience and analytical skills to interpret data. As a chemical engineer and polymerscientist I have specialised on the interactions between chemical environments and polymeric materials.
